Brent Gish came to the Naytahwaush Community as an educator in 1971. Over the years he taught sixth grade and became a school administrator. He also took 25 classes rock climbing.
Mary Turner has been a fiber artist her entire life. She is always creating and helping others. She can usually be seen at local gatherings and pop up events in the area.
Ruth Foss is an artist and served the Naytahwaush community as the postmaster for 28 years before retiring in 2020. Some of her artistry includes working with porcelain and ceramics.
Lois Olson has been a life-long resident of Naytahwaush. She served her community as a nurse for many years.
Pam and David Snetsinger have been active in the Naytahwaush community for their entire lives. They are EMT's, Firefighters, Educators and so much more.
Phyllis Bunker is an artist, an educator and is always creating. She remembers it all, her life in the orphanages and residential Board Schools, Yet, she is always positive.
Karen Walz grew up in Naytahwaush. She recalls many stories of life with her grandmother Josephine, and spending a lot of time with the Public Health Nurse, Adele Northrup.
Josephine (Warren) Robinson grew up on the shores of North Twin Lake. The Warren family was one of the first families to settle on the White Earth Reservation. She was a Black Ash Basket artist whose work can be seen in the Smithsonian.
